According to the Cloud Computing Development 3-Year Action Plan (2017-2019) issued by Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), by 2019, the gross value of Chinese Cloud computing industry should have grown to RMB 430 billion. Breakthroughs should have been made in a wide range of core technologies. Chinese Cloud computing service capacity should be leading the world. The Cloud computing industry should be pulling the development of the new-generation IT industry in a much bigger way. It’s recognized that the issuance of the 3-Year Plan has provided domestic Cloud computing industry with a greater development environment, and, as a unique policy advantage, has brought about greater development opportunities. 

According to a report released earlier this year, i.e. 2016 China Cloud Service and Cloud Storage Market Analysis Report, in 2016, the Chinese Cloud service market scale has already passed RMB 50 billion and reached RMB 51.66 billion. It’s anticipated that in 2017 the market scale would grow beyond RMB 69 billion. And the Chinese Cloud computing industry grew just as fast. According to MIIT statistics released in February, during the 12th Five-Year Plan, Chinese Cloud computing industry achieved an annual average growth of over 30%. By the end of 2015, the total value of Chinese Cloud computing industry had already reached about RMB 150 billion.
